Şavşat (Satlel) Castle, located in Şavşat District of Artvin, which resembles an open-air museum with its deep-rooted history, is 3 km from the city center. A building registered as a cultural property. It was built by the Bagrat Kingdom in the 10th century and was used by the Ottomans. Ardanuç (Gevhernik) Castle, located in Ardanuç, is also known as "Gevheri Nik" because of the silver mines around it. The castle, which is estimated to have been built in the 5th century, was repaired by Sultan Süleyman. Artvin (Livana) Castle, located across the Artvin Bridge on Coruh, was built in 937 by the Bagratids. During the Ottoman period, a new castle was built on the ruins. The cistern and chapel ruins in the castle are worth seeing. Ortacalar Arch Bridges, which are estimated to have been built in the 18th century, are located in the village of Arhavi with the same name. The bridges, which are planned perpendicular to each other at the junction of Küçükköy and Arılı roads, are inclined and consist of a single eye.

Barhal (Altiparmak) Church, 30 km from Yusufeli, was built in the 9th century and dedicated to John the Baptist. Porta (Pırnallı) Monastery in Pırnallı Village of the center was built during the 9th century Bagrat Kingdom. The building consists of a church, chapel, fountain and bell tower. Rabat Church, located in Bulanık Village of Ardanuç, is also a medieval monument belonging to the Bagrat Kingdom. Dolishane Church, located in the Hamamlı Village of the center, was converted into a mosque in the 16th century. Tekkale Monastery, which is located in Tekkale Village of Yusufeli and best reflects the medieval monastic architecture, Tibeti Church built by the Bagrat prince who ruled the region between 899-914, and the Ishan Monastery in the Ishan Village of Yusufeli are among the historical structures worth seeing.

Artvin's first mosque and Hz. The Iskenderpasa Mosque and Tombs, built during the reign of Osman, are located in Ardanuç. The pulpit and ceiling decorations of Ortacalar Central Mosque, built in 1757 in Arhavi, are worth seeing. Muratlı Mosque, located in Borcka Muratli and dated 1846, is a completely wooden structure. Its decorations, door wings, pulpit and mihrab are among the most beautiful examples of wood carving in Artvin.

Macahel, which forms a natural border between Turkey and Georgia and gives its name to a region consisting of 6 villages connected to Borcka, is a valley where Artvin's most special virgin forests are located. There are waterfalls, lakes and plateaus in this almost untouched region. The honey festival, which is held every year in mid-August, is the ideal time to see this paradise… Camili Basin, which is the only region in Turkey designated as a biosphere reserve area by the United Nations, and which is shown as a world heritage, is rich in flora, monumental trees, red scales in its streams. Camili with Maçahel Honey produced with trout and Caucasian bees is one of the gates of the Black Sea to different worlds…
