Transportation from City Center to Mardin Airport

One of Turkey's most impressing cities Mardin is located in the Southeastern Anatolian Region. Operating since 1999, Mardin Airport is 20 km away from the city center. Even though there's an International Flights Terminal in the airport, there're only domestic flights to Mardin. There're direct flights to Mardin from many cities of Turkey. The airport is located 30 minutes away from the city center.

You can take the Kızıltepe Minibuses departing from Diyarkapı Gate in order to get to the Mardin Airport from the city center. If you get off at Kızıltepe, all buses going in the Mardin direction will take you to the airport. You'll see the airport 100 meters away when you get off the minibus.

If you like to go with your private car, it's possible to get to the airport within 10-15 minutes by using Mardin-Kızıltepe highway and going in Kızıltepe direction. There's an 54 car capacity open parking lot in Mardin Airport and the tariff is standard as in every airport in Turkey.

Transportation from Baghdad International Airport to the City Center

Located 16 kilometers west of Iraq's capital, Baghdad, Baghdad International Airport is operated by the Iraqi Government. The airport, where both civilian and military aircraft take off, is home to Iraqi Airways, the country's national airline. Other companies operating at Baghdad International Airport include Air Arabia, Armenia Air Company, ATA Airlines, Atlas Global, Qatar Airways, THY, Fly Dubai. Baghdad Airport draws attention with its annual passenger capacity of approximately 7.5 million passengers and the ability to host aircraft of all sizes involved in both military and civilian operations. There are regular flights from the airport to other cities of the country such as Erbil, Basra, Mosul and Najaf. There are also flights to international destinations such as Doha, Tehran, Bahrain, Amman, Ankara and Antalya. Transportation from Baghdad International Airport to the city center can be provided by shuttle, bus, taxi and car rental.

Bus
It is possible to go to the city center from Baghdad Airport by bus. Bus tickets can be purchased from kiosks located throughout the airport terminals. However, due to the irregularity of bus services, buses are not used much to go to the city center. It takes approximately 35 minutes to reach the city center from the airport by bus.

Service Vehicles (Shuttle)
One of the most preferred means of transportation from Baghdad Airport to the city center is shuttles. The shuttle vehicles, which usually belong to the hotels where the guests reside, take the passengers from the airport and offer a shuttle service to their own hotels. It takes 30-35 minutes to reach the city center from the airport by hotel vehicles, which arrange shuttle services according to the arrival times of their guests.

Taxi
Considering that Baghdad Airport's current means of transportation are inadequate, taxis are becoming one of the safest ways to reach the airport and even get around Baghdad. You can reach Baghdad city center from the airport in 30 minutes by taxi. To ensure the safety of passengers, it is recommended to book a taxi before arriving at Baghdad Airport. Normal taxis cannot enter the airport, only vehicles authorized by government agencies can serve as taxis. Taxis are available at the airport's arrivals and departures terminals and pay between 55 and 95 Iraqi Dinars from the airport to Baghdad city centre.

Rent a car
One of the best alternatives to choose after taxis is car rental. You can get to the city center in about 30 minutes by renting a car from the car rental offices in Baghdad International Airport or by renting a car online.
