Transportation from City Center to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport
There are several ways to reach the airport from Helsinki city center. Some of these are trains, buses and taxis.
Buses, which are the most convenient way, have stops at both terminals. The buses of Finnair Bus, which you will get on from the center, connect the airport to the city center (central train station). Buses departing every 20 minutes cost 6.20€.
There are other buses that go to the airport as an alternative to Finnair Bus. Bus number 615 goes from the central train station to the airport. This bus line is replaced by bus number 620 at night.

Transportation from Budapest International Ferenc Liszt Airport to the City Center
Budapest International Ferenc Liszt Airport is the country's largest international airport serving the capital city of Hungary, Budapest. The airport, formerly Budapest International Ferihegy Airport, still continues to be called by this name from time to time. The airport, located 16 km southeast of the city, was established for military purposes in 1939-1944 during the war. Later, it was rearranged in 1947-1950 to be converted into a civil airport. Today, more than 40 airlines use this airport. Budapest Airport experiences its busiest period in July, August and September.
It is possible to reach the city center from Budapest Airport by bus, minibus, taxi or car rental options.
Undoubtedly, the most economical option is buses. Between 04:00 and 23:00, bus number 200E runs between Terminal 2 and Kőbánya-Kispest metro station. To reach the city center from the airport, you can first take the 200E bus and get off at the Kőbánya-Kispest metro stop, then take the M3 metro that goes in the direction of Újpest Központ. It is possible to buy your tickets from automatic machines or ticket offices. You can take the bus after you get on the bus, but it is a little more expensive.
Another way to reach the city center is to use minibuses. The miniBUD shuttle service with which Budapest Airport is contracted offers a comfortable and fast travel service for those who want to go to the city center from the airport.
You can also prefer taxis to go to your hotel from the airport, which is located 16 km east of the city. You can take your taxi immediately by making a reservation from the booths of Főtaxi company located at the exit gates of Terminal 2A and 2B. In addition to the departure fee and the waiting fee, the taxis generally offer a fixed fee.
