Austrian Airlines Check-in Procedures
You can download your boarding pass to your phone or computer by checking in online with your PNR code or e-ticket number; You can print it out if you wish. You can check-in from the counters and kiosks at the airport. Check-in times may vary depending on the airport. You can check-in at the CAT terminal at Vienna Mitte train station and leave your bag before boarding the train.
Austrian Airlines Baggage Allowance and Fees
Cabin carry-on baggage allowance is limited to 8 kg. Business class tickets have two pieces of 8 kg cabin hand luggage. Check-in baggage is 23 kg for economy class tickets and 32 kg x 2 pieces for business class tickets. Additional baggage fees vary according to destinations, starting from 15 Euros for domestic flights and 25 Euros for international flights, up to 90 Euros. Since the extra baggage fees are higher at check-in, we recommend that you purchase your additional baggage when purchasing your ticket.
Austrian Airlines Seat Selection
You can choose your seat when purchasing a ticket and up to 48 hours before the flight. You can also change seats at check-in. There is a fee to select certain seats. If a seat is not selected, a seat number is automatically assigned during check-in.
Austrian Airlines Food, Beverage and Catering
Drinks, snacks or meals are served on flights, depending on the flight time. If you have a special meal request, you can place an order on the Austrian Airlines website up to 48 hours in advance.
