Transportation from Erhaç Airport to the City Center
One of Turkey's oldest airports Malatya Airport (Erhaç Airport) was first opened in 1941 where now called Battalgazi and is operating in its current location since 1984. There're scheduled flights to Malatya Airport everyday of the week. It's open to international flights since 2007.
You can get to the city center from Malatya Airport by taxi, car rental or HAVAŞ shuttles. If you're considering the taxi option, they serve for 24 hours in front of the domestic terminal exit. The tariff is same for day and night and the fare depends on your km. There're 4 different car rental offices in the airport named as Meydan Taşımacılık, Meydan Car Rental, Grand Rent-a-Car and Avis Rent-a-Car. HAVAŞ organizes a shuttle for every incoming flight. HAVAŞ shuttles departure from the airport 25 minutes after the landing of the incoming flights. The fee is 10 TL and it takes approximately 45 minutes to get to the airport.
HAVAŞ also regulates shuttles for Elbistan County of Kahramanmaraş. These shuttles also departure 25 minutes after the landing of the flight. The fee is 25 TL and it takes approximately 2 hours to get to Elbistan.
