Tailwind Airlines
Founded in 2006 by a Turkish-British partnership, Tailwind Airlines is an airline company based in Istanbul. Tailwind Airlines made its first flight in May 2009. The company operates scheduled and charter flights to 96 different destinations in 24 countries, primarily in Europe, with Boeing 737-400 model aircraft in its fleet.
Tailwind Airlines Check-in Procedures
There is an option to check in at the airport for Tailwind Airlines flights. We recommend that you be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure for domestic flights and at least 3 hours before departure for international flights to check in. Check-in ends 30 minutes before departure for domestic flights and 45 minutes before departure for international flights. You can complete your check-in process, deliver your checked baggage and get your boarding pass by going to Tailwind counters.
Tailwind Airlines Baggage Allowance
Free baggage allowances for flights are stated in the flight details and are generally limited to no more than 20 kilograms. Hand luggage must weigh a maximum of 8 kilograms and have dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20 cm. There is no baggage allowance for babies aged 2 and under. Tailwind Airlines Seat Selection
On Tailwind Airlines flights, you can choose any seat you want during the reservation and check-in process for an additional fee. Seat selection fees may vary for front row, window seat, aisle, extra legroom seat options. If you do not choose a seat, the system will automatically assign you a seat during check-in.
Tailwind Airlines Food and Beverage Service
On Tailwind Airlines flights, food and beverage service is provided with special menus for domestic and international flights. You can choose the flavors you want from the rich food and beverage menu, consisting of snacks, sandwiches, cold and hot foods and beverage alternatives, and purchase them before your flight or in the plane. Tailwind Airlines also offers food alternatives suitable for passengers with special dietary needs. For your special meal orders, you can contact the airline up to 24 hours before the flight.
