Transportation from the City Center to Samsun Çarşamba Airport
Samsun Çarşamba Airport located in the village of Çınarlık, Çarşamba that is 25 kilometers away from the city center. Samsun Çarşamba Airport that have started to operate in the year 1999, is located on the highway connecting Samsun to Ordu. It is an airport with domestic and international connections that operate both regularly and seasonally.
It is possible to reach to the airport from the city center with private car, private bus services and taxi.
It is not possible to reach to the airport from the city center by using HAVAŞ bus services since the Municipality of Samsun had temporarily ceased their services, connecting the city center with the airport. However, the services on the line between Ordu- Samsun Çarşamba Airport are still operating.
As an alternative option, it is possible to reach to the airport by taking vehicles operating on the highway between Samsun-Ordu, followed by walking or taking taxi from the crossroad of the highway to the airport.
