What is Smart Flight®

Smart Flight is developed exclusively by Turna Technical Team. It is connecting the non-connected flights which belongs to the airlines that do not cooperate. Smart Flight provides cheaper and even shorter flights. One of the main benefits is that Smart Flights - virtually connected flights are under the Turna.com Guarantee. Smart Flight allows for significant cost savings for travelers.

Warnings Especially for Smart Flight:

• Make sure your have the Visa of the flight connections. You might need a valid Visa to enter the country or just a transit visa might be enough.
• You will need to collect your luggage at smart connections and check it in for the next flight
• You will need to check-in for each connected flight.
• You might need to pass the security, custom and passport control at each smart connection
• Pay attention to the connection time since the custom control might take longer than expected
• You might be needed to depart from another airport than the arrival airport
• It is in your responsibility to catch your next flight based on the information available at the airport

Turna.com Guarantee is valid only if you pay attention to the above warnings.

Turna.com Guarantee Coverage

• You need to inform us immediately within the following periods whenever you have learned the cancellation or schedule change of any of your smart flights.
  If you are unable to catch your flight due to rotar status, you should contact Turna.com within 1 hour 30 minutes after the rotar flight takes place.In case of prior e-mail / SMS notification such as flight cancellation / flight change, you should contact Turna.com within 1 hour.

• Turna.com Assurance is not valid if you do not provide information within the specified periods.

• Turna.com will contact you through the phone number that you have registered as the contact information during buying of your flight. Turna.com will offer you a reasonable alternative flight.

• Turna.com will pay the whole amount of the offered alternative flight if you accept the Turna.com offer.
• If Turna.com is not able to offer a new flight, then Turna.com will refund all the amount of the remaining flights.
• If you reject the alternative flight offered by Turna.com, Turna.com will refund the unused flights.
• If you do not respond to the Turna.com new flight offer in 6 hours, Turna.com Guarantee will be cancelled.
• If the alternative flight is not available online, then you might need to buy the flight from the airport offices. You need to pay the required amount by yourself and reclaim the amount from Turna.com with the receipts. We must receive your request within 14 days. We will refund the amount that we have offered and do not pay the excess luggage or any other fare which is not included in the flight.
• If there is less than 12 hours for your next flight and you are not able to contact Turna.com, you might buy your ticket form the airport and request the the amount from Turna.com. You must submit the reason, the required documents including the receipt of the flight payment, information about the cancelled or changed flight. Otherwise, we will not be responsible. We will review the documents provided and may decide to pay or not. Payment amount will never exceed 50% of the unused flight.

Additional Services for Smart Flight

Overnight Accommodation

• This option may become available to You if Your Flight has been delayed or cancelled at short notice leaving. You have stucked at the airport or train station for the night and your alternative Flight connects after midnight (12am) and you would need to stay at the airport or train station for more than 12 hours.
• We will pay the accommodation prices partially or fully. Payment can not exceed 50 EUR per person per night.

Food & Beverage Compensation :

• If your flight connection is delayed by more than 6 hours, we are willing to cover the cost of food and beverages up to a total of 5 EUR per passenger booked on your itinerary of smart flight.

Payment for Additional Services :

• You need to submit the documents related with your spendings on overnight accommodation, food and beverages within 14 days. Otherwise there will be no payment.

Refund, Exceptions and Limitations :

Turna.com Guarantee is based on the following rules. If any of these rules are not being followed, then Turna.com Guarentee will not apply.

• The flight should be bought through Turna.com
• These rules are only valid for Smart Flight labeled flights.
• There must be no reissue or any other change on the ticket directly through the airline without the approval of Turna.com
• If you would like to cancel the Smart Flight, we will implement the airline rules and Guarantee Fee will not be refunded.
• If you cancel your Guaranteed connections, then the guarantee will be obsolete.
• The new flight offers from Turna.com need to be approved within 6 hours. Otherwise the guarantee will not apply.
• There should not be any additional services (luggage, food, seat, pet etc.) directly bought from the airline.
• You must have the visa of the connected countries.
• The delay of the flights should not be because of the extraordinary circumstanxes which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures have been taken.
