Transportation from City Center to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport
There are several ways to reach the airport from Helsinki city center. Some of these are trains, buses and taxis.
Buses, which are the most convenient way, have stops at both terminals. The buses of Finnair Bus, which you will get on from the center, connect the airport to the city center (central train station). Buses departing every 20 minutes cost 6.20€.
There are other buses that go to the airport as an alternative to Finnair Bus. Bus number 615 goes from the central train station to the airport. This bus line is replaced by bus number 620 at night.
Bus number 61 takes you from Tikkurila station to Helsinki Airport.

Transportation from Samui International Airport to the City Center
Samui International Airport, the seventh largest airport in Thailand, connects the city of Ko Samui with the outside world. This option cannot be used for transportation to Ko Samui city center due to the lack of any official Shuttle facility offered by the airport management. However, it is possible to reach the city center with the shuttle service provided by the hotels or tour companies serving in the region.
Taxi
Due to the lack of bus and shuttle services, the taxi option is frequently used to reach the city center from Samui International Airport. There are many taxis waiting to pick up passengers in front of the arrival terminal gate of the airport. These taxis provide easy access to many parts of the city. There is no taximeter device in taxis and pre-prepared price tables are used for fares. Taxi fares in the city center vary between 500 and 1000 Baht, depending on the region to be visited. No night or weekend tariffs are applied in taxis.
Rent a car
Car rental option is also frequently preferred for a fast and comfortable transportation to both the city center and other areas in the vicinity. There are agencies of 5 different companies operating worldwide at the airport. It is possible to rent a car through these agencies or from the websites of the relevant companies.
