Royal Jordanian is Jordan's flag carrier national airline. Established in 1963, Royal Jordanian (Royal Jordanian Airlines) operates its flights from Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, the capital of Jordan. There are 23 aircraft in its fleet.

Royal Jordanian Check-In Process and Seat Selection
Royal Jordanian passengers can benefit from the online check-in service before their travel. The online check-in process, which starts 24 hours before the scheduled flight time, ends 4 hours before the flight. An electronic ticket number or PNR number is required for online check-in. Passengers who have completed the check-in process can go to the gate where the flight will take place after printing their boarding passes.
Passengers who want to check-in at the counter or deliver their luggage must apply to the counter 3 hours before the flight. Check-in at the counter closes 45 minutes before the flight. On US flights, the counter closes 60 minutes before the scheduled flight time. For Aqaba flights, the last 30 minutes are enough to apply to the counter. Self check-in is possible via kiosks without visiting the airport counter. Luggage must be delivered after self check-in.
Passengers can benefit from free seat selection during the check-in process made via online check-in or kiosk. For special seats, it is necessary to apply at the counter.
With Royal Jordanian's passenger loyalty program, Royal Plus, passengers can earn and save miles on every flight. It is free to become a member of the Royal Plus program. To become a member of the Royal Plus program, it is necessary to fill out the online form on the airline company's website. Members of the Royal Plus program can earn miles from their flights by specifying their membership numbers during online check-in or counter check-in.
The Royal Plus program provides its members with the opportunity to upgrade their flight class, extra baggage allowance, priority check-in, free lounge access, earn miles for promotions and purchases from contracted institutions and organizations, and to shop with miles. The membership status of the passengers is determined by looking at the flight chart of the last 12 months. Royal Plus login status is Blue Plus. As the amount of miles earned increases, Silver Plus, Gold Plus and Platinum Plus levels are passed. Passengers at higher levels earn more points on their flights. With the corporate social responsibility project of the airline company, the miles earned by the members can be donated to children receiving treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation. A certificate of appreciation is sent to donors.
Royal Jordanian Baggage Allowance and Pricing
The baggage allowance of Royal Jordanian passengers varies according to the ticket class. Crown Class passengers can carry 2 pieces of luggage not exceeding 32 kg each and 2 pieces of hand luggage up to 10 kg; Ekonomy Class passengers are entitled to 1 piece of luggage not exceeding 23 kg and hand luggage not exceeding 10 kg. Passengers with baggage outside these limits can purchase a baggage allowance of up to 23 kg by paying a fee of 90 dollars for the first category, 130 dollars for the second category, and 140 dollars for the third category, depending on their flight category.
Royal Jordanian Food, Beverage and Catering
On Royal Jordanian flights, crown and economy passengers are offered complimentary refreshments depending on the flight time and the time zone of the flight. Snacks, hot and cold meals and hot and cold drinks are on the menu on each flight. Depending on the time of the day, there is also a breakfast, lunch or dinner service. Those who are vegetarian or allergic to certain food groups have the right to a special meal if they inform 48 hours before the flight.
