Transportation from Gimhae International Airport to City Center
Located in Busan, South Korea, Gimhae International Airport is approximately 30 kilometers from the city center. An international terminal was added to the airport, which was opened in 1976. Domestic and international flights are organized from the airport, which hosts an average of 14 million passengers annually. Kuala Lumpur, Osaka, Beijing, Taipe, Manila, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Shanghai are among the popular destinations. At the same time, one of the city's favorite beaches, Hauandea Beach and Gamcheon Cultural Town can be reached in 30 minutes from the airport. The airport is also used by small towns such as Gangseo, Taejongdae, Gavangalli.
The vehicles used to reach the city center from Gimhae International Airport include buses, limousine buses, taxis and subways. It is also possible to rent a car.
Bus
InterCity buses, located on the first floor of the airport's domestic terminal, can be used to go to Busan city center. Buses departing from Gimhae International Airport also drop off passengers at Gwangyang, Suncheon, Jangseungpo and Okpo stops. Transportation to the city center by InterCity bus number 307 costs 1300 Won and the journey takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. You can also go to Busan city center with the city buses that go from the airport to the towns near the city. You can reach the city center in 1 hour with the buses numbered Gangseo-11 and Gangseo-13, called the Town Bus, and the fare costs approximately 1300 Won.
Airport Shuttle Vehicles
There are no shuttle vehicles from the airport to the city center. However, shuttle service is provided between the terminals of the airport. Shuttle vehicles, which serve between 05.50 in the morning and 22.40 in the evening, depart every 10 minutes and no fee is charged.
Taxi
It is possible to reach the city center by taxis at the exit of the airport. A 20% difference is paid for night use of taxis, which pay 2800 Won for every 2 kilometers. About 70 minutes from the airport to the Haeundea area; Nampo-dong takes about 60 minutes. The fees are Won 25,000 for Haeundea and Won 20,000 for Nampo-dong. In addition, it takes 70 minutes to reach Gwangalli area by taxi, 80 minutes to Taejongdae area and 45 minutes to Seomyeon area. Transportation fees are Won 25,000, Won 28,000 and Won 18,000, respectively. In addition to conventional taxis, luxury taxis can also be used from the airport to the city center. Transportation by luxury taxis is charged as 5000 Won for every 3 kilometers.
Rent a car
It is possible to reach the city center by renting a car from the offices of 5 car rental companies at Gimhae International Airport or via the internet. If you want to travel comfortably when you reach the city center, you can choose to rent a car. You can leave the vehicle you have taken from the airport exit to the airport on your return.
Metro
It is possible to reach the city center from the airport by metro lines 2-3. You can reach the city center by transferring from Sasang Station by metro line 2 from the airport and from Daejeo Station by metro line 3. The metro operates between 06:00 in the morning and 23:00 at night.
Limousine Bus
Transportation can also be provided by limousine buses departing from stop 2 on the first floor of the airport's domestic and international terminals. The city center and regions such as Seomyeon and Haeundae can be reached in about 1 hour with limousine buses, which are much more comfortable, stylish and convenient than conventional buses, and a fee of 7000 Won is paid.
