Transportation from Santo Domingo City Center to Santo Domingo Airport
There is no public transportation from Santo Domingo City Center to the airport. Transfer options include taxi, private transfer and Uber.
There are plenty of taxis in the city, and if you're not visiting Santo Domingo in high season, you won't have any trouble finding a taxi. The city center is located 30 km from Las Américas International Airport and the journey takes 45 minutes under normal traffic conditions.

If you are coming to Managua, the capital of Nicaragua, on an international flight, you will enter the country from Augusto C. Sandino International Airport. Although a taxi is not very cheap in Nicaragua, it is one of the easiest ways to get to the city from Managua Airport. You can stop a taxi passing by by exiting the international terminal and crossing the main road called Carretera Norte.

From here you can take bus 266 and head south of the city. Tell the driver that you will get off at the “El Nuevo Diario” stop so that he will let you know when he arrives. It is possible to get to the Metrocentro station, that is, to reach the city center, by taking the bus numbered 114 or 120 passing through the El Nuevo Diario stop. On all buses it is better to either have full money or pay in small notes. Metrocentro stop is located two blocks from Plaza de Las Victorias Square, which is considered the city center of Managua.
