Transportation from Quito City Center to Quito Airport
Although Mariscal Sucre International Airport is approximately 40 km from the city of Quito, it is quite easy to reach by using various vehicles in the city.
One of the most convenient ways to reach the airport is to take the private buses that run between the city center and the airport. These buses depart from the old airport, which is currently used as a park, and arrive at the new airport after about an hour's journey.
Buses depart every half hour on weekdays and every hour on weekends. Free internet service is available on the buses. One suitcase and one hand luggage up to 23 kg are included in the ticket price. It's quite easy to get to this airport which is only 4-5 km away from the central points of the city.
There're taxi, minibus and car rental options to get to the city center from Adana Şakirpaşa Airport. HAVAŞ buses only operate between Adana and Osmaniye, Tarsus and Mersin.
You should get public bus number 135 to get to city center. These buses operate between Airport-Balcalı route and they go until the university. Operating 7 days a week between 06.00 and 23.00, these buses are a good option if you want to use public transportation.
The minibuses passing from the main road outside of the airport are among the alternatives for those who want to go to different districts of Adana. These minibuses have frequent rounds and it's possible to go everywhere in Adana with them.
You can go to city center by taking a taxi outside of the city center. Many destinations cost around 10-30 TL.
You can use car rental services by either using the offices in the airport or making an online reservation. It's also possible to take the HAVAŞ buses and get off on the road.
