There are bus, train, hotel transfer service, taxi and car rental options for transportation from Munich city center to the airport.
There are several bus lines connecting the airport to the city centre. You can reach the airport in a cheap and comfortable way by taking the buses from the city center. The bus stop is located just outside of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

The first bus leaves at 06.40 in the morning and the last bus at 23.00 in the evening. The journey takes about 15 minutes. You pay the ticket price to the driver on the bus.
The bus platform at the airport is right next to the exit point of the arrivals hall. Here you can find both shuttle buses to the city and intercity buses to nearby major cities such as Bilbao, Gijón, Oviedo, Laredo.

One of the most comfortable ways to reach the city center from the airport is to take a taxi. Although the taxis at the airport do not go to the city center for a fixed fee, they follow a fair price policy. The average distance between the airport and the city center is 7 km and the journey takes about 12 minutes.
