Transportation from City Center to Mardin Airport
One of Turkey's most impressing cities Mardin is located in the Southeastern Anatolian Region. Operating since 1999, Mardin Airport is 20 km away from the city center. Even though there's an International Flights Terminal in the airport, there're only domestic flights to Mardin. There're direct flights to Mardin from many cities of Turkey. The airport is located 30 minutes away from the city center.
You can take the Kızıltepe Minibuses departing from Diyarkapı Gate in order to get to the Mardin Airport from the city center. If you get off at Kızıltepe, all buses going in the Mardin direction will take you to the airport. You'll see the airport 100 meters away when you get off the minibus.
If you like to go with your private car, it's possible to get to the airport within 10-15 minutes by using Mardin-Kızıltepe highway and going in Kızıltepe direction. There's an 54 car capacity open parking lot in Mardin Airport and the tariff is standard as in every airport in Turkey.
If you like to use the taxi, you can get a taxi from everywhere in the city and the fee changes between 30 and 50 liras.

Transportation from Conakry Airport to City Center
Conakry is the capital of Guinea and also its largest commercial center. There are dozens of alternative activities to be done in the city, which has signed a great tourism potential in the region with tourist groups and package tour organizations visiting the city to see the Atoll Island.
After swimming at Soumba Waterfall, which is 2 hours away from the city, you can have a nice meal at the restaurant with a waterfall view. There is no bus line departing from Conakry Airport, which is 13 km from the city center, or a railway line connecting the airport to the city. In this context, the most convenient way to get from Conakry Airport to the city center is to take a taxi or rent a car.
You can even rent these taxis daily or half-day with a driver at very affordable prices after you arrive in the country. You need to agree on the price of the taxis you will take from the airport in advance so that you do not have to pay extra fees later.
Renting a car in Conakry is also quite an expensive option, but renting a car before your flight will give you peace of mind in many ways. You can also book a private transfer from Conakry Airport to the city center by requesting it from the hotel where you will be staying in Conakry or from a reliable tour company. Thus, when you leave the arrivals hall, the officer waiting with a banner with your name in his hand will direct you to the vehicle.
In this type of reservation, you must inform the transfer company of your flight number and time, because they may continue to wait for you in a possible delay. Since security problems are common in Guinea, it may be wise to choose not to get into a vehicle that you have not booked or recognised.
There are also minibuses that go to the city center from Conakry Airport and are frequently used by the local people. To get on these, you have to leave the airport and walk to the main street. The minibuses that go to the city in one hour do not operate after 18:00.
