Transportation from City Center to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport
There are several ways to reach the airport from Helsinki city center. Some of these are trains, buses and taxis.
Buses, which are the most convenient way, have stops at both terminals. The buses of Finnair Bus, which you will get on from the center, connect the airport to the city center (central train station). Buses departing every 20 minutes cost 6.20€.

It is also possible to go up to Parnell Square by using the 747 city bus. The bus journey between the airport and the city center takes about 30 minutes depending on the traffic density.
Another option to go from the airport to the city center is the Northern Metro. You can reach O'Connell by using the metro station located in the airport terminal. This station also acts as a transfer to other destinations.
It is possible to go to the city center in about 20 minutes by using the taxis at the airport arrivals terminal exit gate. You can also rent a car with rent a car offices or online reservation.
