Transportation from City Center to Funchal Airport
Funchal Airport or Madeira International Airport is approximately 20 km from the city center and it is quite easy to get to the airport with its extensive transportation network.
The easiest way to reach the airport is to take the airport shuttle named Aerobus. Shuttles depart from Formosa Beach and collect passengers from many stops on the way and reach the airport.
