Bus
Buses are often preferred for transportation from the city center to Chiang Rai Airport. Buses running between the bus station in the city center and the airport depart every 20-40 minutes and are charged 20 baht (2019). The journey from the city center to the airport takes an average of 20 minutes. Pink airport buses run from 6:00 to 11:20 daily and run to and from King Mengrai Monument, Night Market, Chiang Rai Bus Terminal 1, Central Plaza and Chiang Rai Bus Terminal 2.
Taxi
The number of taxis in the city is quite low, but it is possible to get taxi services in hotels and relatively central places. A 10-minute airport journey from the city center costs 120 baht on average (2019).
Songthaew
It is possible to reach the airport from the city center via Songthaew and Tuk-Tuks, one of the most frequently used vehicles in Thailand. Songthaew journey is 15 baht per person, Tuk-Tuk journey is between 40-100 baht and journeys take an average of 15-20 minutes.

Phuket International Airport is an international airport located in the island of Phuket and the city of the same name, located in the south of Thailand.
The airport is located in the north of the island, 32 km from the city center of Phuket. Phuket International Airport plays an important role in Thailand's tourism industry, as the famous Phuket Island is a frequent destination for vacationers. After the two airports in the capital, Bangkok, Phuket Airport is Thailand's third busiest airport. Phuket Airport broke a record with 11.3 million inbound and outbound passengers in 2013. Today, the airport hosts 10 domestic and foreign airline companies.
There are options such as buses, minibuses, taxis and limousine rentals to reach the city center, which is 32 km from Phuket Airport.
The first option that comes to mind, buses, unfortunately do not go very often from the airport to Phuket city center. Bus services are planned to be expanded.
When you exit the arrivals floor of Phuket Airport, there are several companies where you can rent minibuses and limousines. Prices are fixed in companies that offer private limousine, private minibus and group minibus options.
You can also use the taxis located outside the terminal gate to go to the city center. The journey by taxi from the airport to Phuket city center takes about 30 minutes. However, since the luggage space of the taxis at the airport is small, it is recommended to choose minibuses or limousines if you have a lot of luggage.
