Transportation from Leeds-Bradford International Airport to the City Center
Leeds is the largest city in the English State of West Yorkshire and is famous for its nightlife, universities, sports teams and shopping boutiques. It also promises many things to travelers with its theatres, historical architecture, museums, cafes and restaurants.
Leeds-Bradford International Airport is located 11 kilometers northwest of the city, between Bradford and Leeds. So it serves both Leeds and Bradford.
Buses from Leeds-Bradford Airport to the city center are operated by Transdev Blazefield under the brand name Flyer. Flyer buses, which are fast and comfortable, reach Leeds city center from the airport in about 25 minutes and there is wifi on the buses.
The bus stop is right in front of the terminal. You can reach Leeds city center from the airport with the A1 bus, and Bradford can be reached from different routes with the A2 and A3. Bus number A1 runs between 05:10 am and 00:05 pm and stops at Leeds City Square, York Street and Leeds Bus Station. Bus A2 runs from Leeds Airport to Bradford between 05.27 am and 23.27 pm, while bus A3 goes to Bradford between 06.50 am and 22.50 pm.
The last stop of both buses is Bradford Interchange train station.
It is also possible to transfer to the railways from Leeds Train Station, Bradford Interchange Station and Bradford Forster Square Station by using the Leeds and Bradford buses departing from the airport.
