Hotel Oceania

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. However, we must address the real issue behind this review. At the reservation time you declared your daughter as under 1 years old to avoid charges. In reality, she was 7 years old. Upon check-in we advised you of the difference of price to pay (the standard €35 supplement, including breakfast she consumed), When we applied it, three days later at the check-out, you became upset about paying for services rightfully due and accepted. This review appears to be retaliation for being asked to pay the correct amount rather than a genuine reflection of your stay. Regarding your specific complaints: Soundproofing: Our historic building (1895) consistently receives praise for quiet rooms. We have no recurring noise issues. Towel service: Daily housekeeping includes towel replacement. Fresh towels are always available upon request at our 24-hour reception. Staff communication: Our reception team scores 9.6/10 for friendliness and professionalism across hundreds of reviews. We're surprised by this claim. Kettle: We don't provide kettles in guest rooms as we don't consider them hygienic. Instead, our 24-hour coffee bar offers hot water, tea and herbal infusions to all guests at any time. We welcome honest feedback, but we find it unacceptable to misrepresent a child's age to avoid legitimate charges, then leave a negative review when the correct payment is requested. We maintain high standards of hospitality and fairness for all guests since 1975. Hotel Oceania - Famiglia Loreti
