Hotel Astoria, BW Signature Collection

This was one of the most uncomfortable hotel experiences I have ever had. During my stay, my boyfriend visited me and we were sitting quietly in the lobby area near the reception, having coffee. Because I was not informed about the rules, I closed a curtain nearby. One receptionist — the only Black staff member at the reception, while the rest of the staff were Danish — approached us in an extremely aggressive, tense, and unprofessional manner. He did not answer my questions properly, kept dismissing me, and spoke in a threatening tone. Although closing the curtain was clearly a staff responsibility, he chose to escalate the situation instead of handling it professionally. He suddenly told us that I was not allowed to meet my boyfriend inside the hotel and ordered us to leave immediately. He even threatened to call the police if we did not go outside. This behavior was completely unacceptable and caused me serious stress and anxiety. When we later asked to speak with the manager, an apology was given, but it came far too late. The emotional distress had already occurred, and the situation had been handled very poorly from start to finish. Additionally, even though I extended my reservation, the hotel failed to update it in their system. My room key was not renewed, forcing me to ask the reception to open my room every single time I entered. This was humiliating and extremely inconvenient. I was assigned room 152, which was very noisy, despite the fact that I had clearly
