Transportation from Lanzarote Airport to the City Center

Lanzarote Airport (ACE), or officially César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport, is located in Lanzarote, one of the islands in Spain's Canary Archipelago.

The most convenient option to reach the city center from the airport is to use buses. When you exit the terminal building and turn left, you will see the buses.

Line 22 departs approximately every 25 minutes between the airport and Arrecife, only on weekdays and between 07.00 in the morning and 22.30 in the evening. For more detailed information, you can check the airport website.

On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, bus number 23 takes its place and carries its passengers on the Airport, Playa Honda and Arrecife lines. It gets up every 50 minutes between 07:00 in the morning and 21:00 in the evening.

Lines 161 and 261 carry their passengers on the route of the Airport, Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca. These buses run every 30 minutes between 08.30 in the morning and 23.30 in the evening on weekdays, and between 09.00 and 23.00 on the remaining days. It gets up every hour on Saturdays and every 2 hours on Sundays and public holidays.

If you say you don't want to do bus math, you want to get to my hotel as soon as possible, airport taxis are just for this job. After exiting the terminal building, you will see the taxi stand right in front of you.

There is always a taxi at this stop, which is not too crowded like Christmas. The officer at the head of the station asks you where you are going, how many people you have and if you have any special needs, and calls a suitable taxi for you and takes you and your guests to the incoming taxi. The 7 km road from the city center usually takes less than 10 minutes and you will arrive at your accommodation.

For an even quicker option, you can arrange an airport transfer before you start your journey. Thus, you will be a professional who greets you with your name at the terminal building and you will arrive at your hotel comfortably as soon as possible.
