Transportation from Miami International Airport to City Center
The distance between Miami International Airport and the city center is 11 kilometers. There are many transportation options from the airport to Miami city center. Miami city center can be reached in a short time and easily with bus, subway, taxi, private transfer and car rental alternatives.
At the airport, you can reach the city center by bus or metrorail after reaching the bus platforms and metro station with the free MIA Mover, which operates 24/7 between terminals. To go to the city center by metrorail, you can go to the train station with MIA Mover and take the metrotrail that goes to many parts of Miami. The ticket cost is $2.50.
You can consider taxi, private transfer and car rental options to go to the city center comfortably without using public transportation. The cost of a taxi ride from Miami Airport to Miami city center is approximately $35. If you want to go to the city center by private transfer, you have to pay a fee of 100-125 dollars. You can comfortably reach Miami city center or the surrounding areas by renting a car from the car rental companies located at the exit of Miami Airport.
