Transportation from Thessaloniki City Center to Thessaloniki Airport
The easiest way to reach SKG Airport from the city center is to take a taxi, as you can find a taxi almost anywhere in the city at any time. If you are right in the city center, this 13-15 kilometer road takes about half an hour. Taxi fares in Thessaloniki can be considered more affordable on average compared to many European cities.
Another way is to use the buses, the first stop of which is Thessaloniki Central Train Station. While this journey takes approximately 40-50 minutes with the 01X line you will take during the day, it takes approximately 50-60 minutes with the 01N bus you will take at night.
You can buy the necessary ticket for the journey from the kiosks in the squares before you get on the bus, or you can pay in cash when you get on, but you will need coins for this. Also, ticket machines on buses do not give change. You have to operate the ticket you bought from the kiosks from the machines on the buses, otherwise you may be penalized in any inspection.
Transportation from Ibiza Airport to the City Center
Ibiza Airport is an international airport serving Ibiza and Formentera from the Balearic Islands in Spain. The airport is located 7 km southwest of Ibiza. Since the island of Ibiza is a frequent destination for holidaymakers from Europe, it is quite busy, especially during the season. The airport is used by 95% of people arriving or leaving the islands of Ibiza and Formentera.
You can use public transport, taxis or rent a car to reach the center of the island from Ibiza Airport.
Since Ibiza Airport is only 7 km from the city center, it is not difficult to get to your accommodation. One of the most convenient ways is to use public transport. Bus number 10 (Route 10) follows the route Ibiza-San Jorge-Airport. The bus stops at the Formentera ferry port, port and San Jorge. Buses depart every 30 minutes between November and April, and every 20 minutes between April and October, and every 15 minutes between July and August. The ticket price between the airport and Ibiza is 3.50 €.
Another bus you can use is bus number 24. This bus runs between the airport and the resort Sant Eularia and Cala Nova. But note that this bus line is only available from 23 May to 15 October. Buses leave hourly.
The number 9 bus departs from the airport and goes to the town of San Jose and the San Antonio resort. This line is only available from 1 June to 12 October. Buses leave hourly.
In addition to these, you can use the taxis at the terminal gate or the car rental companies to reach the city center.
