Sivas, the second biggest city in in Turkey in terms of surface area, is a passage between the region of Central Anatolia and the historical Silk Road. The Congress Hall in Sivas, where the struggle for the independence of the Turkish Republic had been initiated, located in Istasyon Street. The place had been used as a military quarter for Independence War in year, 1919 and today, it is named as The Congress and The Museum of Ataturk and attracts visitors who are history enthusiasts.
