Transportation from Santo Domingo City Center to Santo Domingo Airport
There is no public transportation from Santo Domingo City Center to the airport. Transfer options include taxi, private transfer and Uber.
There are plenty of taxis in the city, and if you're not visiting Santo Domingo in high season, you won't have any trouble finding a taxi. The city center is located 30 km from Las Américas International Airport and the journey takes 45 minutes under normal traffic conditions.

Kingston Airport, officially known as Norman Manley International Airport (KIN), serves the city of Kingston, the capital city of Jamaica. The most economical option to go from the airport to the city center is to take the 98 numbered Port Royal – City center bus.

While the two options above drop off their passengers at certain stops, shuttles like minibuses departing from the airport drop their passengers off at their hotels in the city center. Since these minibuses take off when they are full in direct proportion to their names, the waiting time can sometimes reach 45 minutes. As you can rent a private shuttle service to your hotel from the same company, your hotel probably also has a shuttle service. By using this service, you will reach your hotel directly from the airport and you will not have to deal with anything else.
