Transportation from Quito City Center to Quito Airport
Although Mariscal Sucre International Airport is approximately 40 km from the city of Quito, it is quite easy to reach by using various vehicles in the city.
One of the most convenient ways to reach the airport is to take the private buses that run between the city center and the airport. These buses depart from the old airport, which is currently used as a park, and arrive at the new airport after about an hour's journey.
Buses depart every half hour on weekdays and every hour on weekends. Free internet service is available on the buses. One suitcase and one hand luggage up to 23 kg are included in the ticket price.
