Transportation from the City Center to Porto Airport
Porto is located in the south of Portugal, on the banks of the Duoro River. Porto, the capital of the province of the same name, is the most important industrial point of the country. The city center, located north of the Duora River, is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Porto's world-famous product, Port wine, is made with grapes from the vineyards lined along the Duoro River. The recipe for this grape variety and wine is protected by law. The only airport serving the city is called Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport or Porto Airport. This international airport is located 11 km northwest of Porto city centre.
There are bus, metro, taxi and car rental options for transportation to Porto Airport, which is 11 km away from the city center.
The most convenient way to reach Porto Airport is to use buses. There are reciprocal flights between the airport and the city center with buses numbered 601, 602, 604 and 3M, which depart every half hour.
Another option for those who prefer public transportation is the metro line. The purple Line E lines serve at intervals of 20-30 minutes between 06:00 in the morning and 01:00 at night. You can reach the airport by metro from Estádio do Dragão station. You can buy your tickets for the metro from automatic machines.
You can use the 24-hour taxis to reach Porto Airport easily from the city center. Note that night and weekend rates are different for taxis.

Transportation from Recife Airport to the City Center
Recife, or Recife/Guararapes – Gilberto Freyre International Airport (REC), with its long name, serves Recife, the 4th largest city in Brazil. Since the city of Recife is a developed and crowded city, many different means of transportation are used to reach the city center. The most economical of these is to take the bus.
Many different lines operate between the airport and the central districts. Lines 33 and 42 of these reach Praia de Boa Viagem in 15 minutes and reach the historical city center of Recife in 30 minutes. From other lines passing through the airport, number 152 goes to Jordão de Baixo, number 153 goes to Brigadeiro Ivo Borges and number 163 goes to Cajueiro Seco. Buses run every 20 to 30 minutes between 04.00 in the morning and 23.50 in the evening.
Another economical option is to take the subway. The airport metro stop (Estação do Aeroporto), which is connected to the terminal building with an overpass, is a 3-minute walk away. There are two main lines that stop at this stop. Among these, the central line passes between 05:00 and 23:00, seven days a week, at intervals of 4-7 minutes. The other is the south line and it works 7 days a week between 05.00 and 23.00 and passes at 8-minute intervals.

Of course, taxis, which are indispensable for every airport, are another option. You have multiple options here. Of these, Taxi Especial and Táxi Aeroporto are slightly more expensive than taxi stands authorized to pick up passengers from the airport and Taxi Comun, that is, ordinary taxis.
