Transportation from the City Center to Porto Airport
Porto is located in the south of Portugal, on the banks of the Duoro River. Porto, the capital of the province of the same name, is the most important industrial point of the country. The city center, located north of the Duora River, is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Porto's world-famous product, Port wine, is made with grapes from the vineyards lined along the Duoro River. The recipe for this grape variety and wine is protected by law. The only airport serving the city is called Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport or Porto Airport. This international airport is located 11 km northwest of Porto city centre.
There are bus, metro, taxi and car rental options for transportation to Porto Airport, which is 11 km away from the city center.
The most convenient way to reach Porto Airport is to use buses. There are reciprocal flights between the airport and the city center with buses numbered 601, 602, 604 and 3M, which depart every half hour.
Another option for those who prefer public transportation is the metro line. The purple Line E lines serve at intervals of 20-30 minutes between 06:00 in the morning and 01:00 at night. You can reach the airport by metro from Estádio do Dragão station. You can buy your tickets for the metro from automatic machines.
You can use the 24-hour taxis to reach Porto Airport easily from the city center. Note that night and weekend rates are different for taxis.

Transportation from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to the City Center
There are several ways to reach Helsinki from Helsinki Airport. Some of these are trains, buses and taxis.
Buses, which are the most convenient way, have stops at both terminals. When your plane lands, don't forget to check the bus times on the screen on the arrivals floor. Buses belonging to Finnair Bus connect the airport to the city center (central train station). Buses departing every 20 minutes cost 6.20€.
There are other buses that go to the city center as an alternative to Finnair Bus. Bus number 615 goes to the central train station. This bus line is replaced by bus number 620 at night.
Bus number 61 takes you from the airport to Tikkurila station.
Another way to reach Helsinki city center is by train. To reach the train station, you can use the corridors that provide transition between the terminals.
Taxis are another option, located at the exit of the arrivals terminal. The journey from the airport to Helsinki by taxi takes about 30 minutes and costs 45-50€.
