Phuket International Airport is an international airport located in the island of Phuket and the city of the same name, located in the south of Thailand.
The airport is located in the north of the island, 32 km from the city center of Phuket. Phuket International Airport plays an important role in Thailand's tourism industry, as the famous Phuket Island is a frequent destination for vacationers. After the two airports in the capital, Bangkok, Phuket Airport is Thailand's third busiest airport. Phuket Airport broke a record with 11.3 million inbound and outbound passengers in 2013. Today, the airport hosts 10 domestic and foreign airline companies.
There are options such as buses, minibuses, taxis and limousine rentals to reach Phuket International Airport, which is 32 km from the city center.
The first option that comes to mind, buses, unfortunately do not run very often between the airport and Phuket city center. Bus services are planned to be expanded in the near future.
You can rent a car with a fixed fee from car rental companies that offer private limousine, private minibus and group minibus options.

Transportation from Delhi Indira Gandhi Airport to City Center
Delhi Airport, New Delhi's only airport, is also known as Indira Gandhi International Airport. Delhi Airport, the busiest airport in India, is located in Palam district, 16 km from the city center. The airport's passenger traffic, which has grown rapidly in the last ten years, has doubled since 2007. About 80 airlines, including international airlines, serve at Delhi Airport, which is India's largest airport in terms of passenger traffic.
There are bus, metro, taxi and car rental options to reach the city center from Delhi International Airport, which is 16 km away from New Delhi.
Buses are the most common and cheapest mode of transport in the city. The bus company arranged the shuttle service at 30-minute intervals. Shuttles run from Delhi Airport to central areas of Delhi, including Connaught Place and the Interstate Bus Terminal. However, the buses are sometimes very crowded, so you may have to wait at the stop.
Delhi Metro is one of the fastest ways to travel in the city. In fact, the metro line, which gained importance in the past, has become the heart of the city. Recently, a super-fast airport line connecting the airport and the city center has been put into service. The journey, which takes only 25 minutes from beginning to end, brings the airport closer to the heart of the city. Passengers can buy their tokens or cards from ticket outlets at the stations. You can also buy your ticket from automatic ticket machines to avoid long queues.
Delhi International Airport has agreements with three taxi companies: Meru Cabs, Mega Cabs and Easy Cabs. Two of them are in domestic and international flights, and Easy Cabs only provides service in the domestic terminal.
Another way to get to Delhi city center is to get help from the car rental office at the airport. The company offers chauffeured and driverless vehicles and limousine services.
