Transportation from Budapest International Ferenc Liszt Airport to the City Center
Budapest International Ferenc Liszt Airport is the country's largest international airport serving the capital city of Hungary, Budapest. The airport, formerly Budapest International Ferihegy Airport, still continues to be called by this name from time to time. The airport, located 16 km southeast of the city, was established for military purposes in 1939-1944 during the war. Later, it was rearranged in 1947-1950 to be converted into a civil airport.
