Transportation from Tucson International Airport to the City Center
You can easily reach Tucson city center from the airport by using different transportation alternatives.
Bus
There is a big bus stop just opposite the main terminal building. You can reach the city center within 30 minutes with buses numbered 11 and 25 departing from this stop. Buses operated by a company called Sun Tran provide service every day of the week between 04:00 and 20:00 at half-hourly intervals. Taxi
The airport has official agreements with two different taxi companies, Vip Taxi and Yellow Cab. Taxis belonging to both companies are waiting to pick up passengers on the left at the exit of the baggage claim area. When taxis are not available, it is possible to call a taxi by contacting the airport information center. It takes 15 minutes to reach Tucson city center by taxi and it is necessary to pay a fee of 25-30 dollars for this journey. No night tariffs are applied in taxis.
