Transportation from the City Center to Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport
There are bus, train, hotel transfer service, taxi and car rental options for transportation from Munich city center to the airport.
There are several bus lines connecting the airport to the city centre. You can reach the airport in a cheap and comfortable way by taking the buses from the city center. The bus stop is located just outside of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Alternatively, you can choose taxis from Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Central Area. You can choose a non-smoking taxi with different vehicle options.

Taxi

Rent a car
Renting a car is one of the practical ways to get to the city center from Vancouver International Airport. It is possible to reach the desired point easily by following the signs on the straight road from the airport to the city center. First, turn right onto SW Marine Drive over the Arthur Laigne Bridge, which connects with Grant McConachie Road. Then, enter 72nd Boulevard and exit to Granville Street, where the city center is located. Car rental companies apply different prices according to the rented vehicle.
Metro
The subway lines to downtown Vancouver and parts of Richmond are the most economical and fastest means of transportation. The line, known as Canada Line, goes directly to the city center. Yaletown – Roundhouse, Vancouver City Center and Waterfront stops are located in and near the center. The metro station at the airport is located right in the middle of the domestic and international lines, across the street. There is a metro every 7 minutes during working hours and every 15 minutes outside working hours. In order to be in the city center in about 20 minutes, it is necessary to pay a fee of 9 dollars. Metro tickets can also be used for bus transfers for 90 minutes.
Bike
It is possible to reach the city center from Sea Island by bicycle. Within Sea Island, there are bike paths and designated routes at the bridge crossings of the Frasher River and in the center.
