Transportation from the City Center to Miami International Airport
There are many options for transportation from Miami city center to the airport.
The most preferred ones are to travel by bus and metrorail. You can reach the airport in approximately 30 minutes by buses 7, 37, 42, 57, 133, 236 and 238 departing from the city center and airport express services. You can reach Miami International Airport in a short time by taking the subway from the Metrorail station to the airport. If you have a lot of luggage or 3-4 people, taxi, private transfer and car rental options may be more comfortable for transportation to the airport.
Transportation from San Jose International Airport to the City Center
There are multiple ways to reach the city center from San Jose International Airport.
Bus
Transportation from San Jose International Airport to all public transportation vehicles in the city center is provided by the free VTA Route 10 bus. This bus operates between 05.12 – 11.33 on weekdays and between 05.25-11.36 on weekends. It is possible to reach both light rail systems and buses from the Metro Light Rail station. Regular and charter buses are also available via Stop 10 in Terminal B. Single-use tickets are $2.5, while daily tickets are $7.5.
Airport Shuttle Vehicles
It is possible to reach the Door-to-Door service vehicles from the 2nd stops of Terminal A and Terminal B. In addition, it is possible to get on the free shuttle buses of the hotels from Terminal A Land Transportation Center 8th stop or Terminal B Land Transportation Center 10th stop, right across the baggage claim hall.
Taxi
It is possible to take advantage of taxi services at San Jose International Airport. Taxis can be accessed via Terminal A 2nd stop or Terminal B 1st stop. Taxis also offer wheelchair service. The journey to the airport by taxi starts from 15 USD. This figure includes the first three miles and the airport fee of 1.5 USD. After that, 3 USD per mile is charged. There is a 15% discount for people over 65 and disabled.
Rent a car
The car rental counters at the airport are located opposite Terminal B. It is possible to walk across the baggage claim center. Passengers arriving from Terminal A can use the blue airport shuttles to reach here.
Tram
It is possible to reach both light rail systems and buses from the Metro Light Rail station with the free VTA Route 10 bus. You can get on both the green and blue lines from the airport.
