Transportation from Varna Airport to the City Center
Varna Airport is located in Varna, one of the largest cities in Bulgaria, which is also a historical port city. Varna Airport, which is the third largest airport in Bulgaria and located on the Black Sea coast, becomes an important destination especially during the summer holidays. Located in a town called Aksakova, about 8 km from Varna city centre, the airport serves the northeastern part of Bulgaria with Varna. Bus number 409 to the city center leaves every 15 minutes.
Another way to reach the city from the airport is to use taxis. The journey from Varna Airport to the city center takes about half an hour by taxi and costs 10-20 Bulgarian Lev.
