Transportation from City Center to Kos Airport

Kos Airport is the main airport of Kos Island, located just off Bodrum and Datça. Kos Island is known to us as Kos. Since the economy of the island is mainly based on tourism, the transportation network on the island is quite good for a small island.

The buses in Kos are operated by the Ktel company. There are buses departing from many parts of the island towards the airport. The most used route is the route that departs from Kos city center and first stops at Mastichari Port and then goes to the airport.

The distance between Kos and Mastichari takes about 25 minutes, while the airport from Mastichari takes about 10 minutes by car. Between Mondays and Saturdays, the flights start at 08.20 in the morning and end at 23.00 in the evening and there are 8 flights in total. On Sundays, there are only three flights departing at 10:00, 13:00 and 17:00.

Buses departing from Kefalos to the airport have a total of 5 flights between 07.30 in the morning and 18.00 in the evening between Mondays and Saturdays. On Sundays, there are only three flights departing at 08:00, 11:00 and 15:30.

Finally, there are buses coming from the direction of Kardamena. These buses run six times in total between 07.50 in the morning and 19.45 in the evening between Mondays and Saturdays. On Sundays, there are only three flights departing at 08.20, 11.15 and 15.50.
These hours may change according to the season, so it is useful to check the official website of the company.

Another option is to take a taxi. You can take taxis from anywhere you want. The reception of your hotel will also assist you in calling a taxi.

Transportation from Palma de Mallorca Airport to the City Center

Palma de Mallorca is located on the island of Majorca, in the Balearic Archipelago in Spain. Located on the eastern coast of Spain, in the Western Mediterranean, the island is flooded by holidaymakers, especially in the summer months, as the Mediterranean climate prevails. Palma de Mallorca Airport, formerly called Son Sant Joan Airport, is located approximately 8 km south of the city. It is the third largest airport in Spain after Madrid-Barajas and Barcelona International airports. Palma de Mallorca Airport is one of the busiest airports in Europe during the summer months.

You can choose one of the bus, hotel transfer services, taxi and car rental options to reach Palma city center from the airport.

The most convenient way to reach the city center may be to use the buses, which cost only 3 Euros one way. Line 1 serves between the airport and the main tourist attractions in the city center. In addition, buses that take you to the coastal road depart every 15 minutes.
Line 21, on the other hand, provides service between the airport and many hotels on Palma beach. These buses, where the tickets are again 3 Euros, depart every 30 minutes.

You can also reach the city center by using the paid or free shuttle services of the hotels. For this, contact your hotel in advance.

A quick and comfortable way to reach the city center is to use taxis. The taxis you can find at the arrivals gate on the ground floor of the terminal take you anywhere on the island. Do not forget to ask for an invoice in case of any situation.

Renting a car is a good idea, especially if you want to tour the island. The companies you can find at the airport are Hertz, Enterprise, Avis, Europcar, Sixt, Goldcar and Record Go.
