Transportation from the City Center to Corfu Airport
Corfu, or Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport, is the only international airport on the Greek island of Corfu. The island has become an attractive tourism destination thanks to its proximity to other European countries and its magnificent natural beauties, and therefore the airport is very crowded and busy, especially in summer. Fortunately, transportation from the city center to the airport is very easy.
Bus line 15 is your only public transportation option to get to the airport. This line departs from Corfu Port, where cruise ships also dock, and arrives at Corfu Airport, passing first through San Rocco Square and then through the intercity bus terminal. If you get on from the port, the road takes an average of 4 km and takes 8-10 minutes under normal traffic conditions.
If you don't want to take the bus, your remaining options are taxi and private transfer. If you are going to use a taxi, you can take the next taxi from any stop, as Uber and similar transportation applications have not been used in the city yet.

There are subway, minibus, taxi and car rental options for transportation from Suvarnabhumi Airport to the city center and from the city center to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
The easiest way to get from the airport to the city center is to use the City Line metro line. You can reach the city center in a short time with the subway that makes express flights between the airport and the city center and stops at the Phaya Thai and Makkasan stations. The metro, which can be reached anywhere with a journey time of 20-40 minutes, operates between 06.00 in the morning and 00.00 at midnight. To use the metro, you need to go to terminal B of the airport.
Another way to reach the city center is minibuses. The minibus with line number 550 departing from the airport passes through different districts on its way to the city center. The minibus with line number 551 reaches the city center by using the highway directly.
You can reach the city center with your own vehicle by renting a car from the rent a car offices at the airport. However, it is necessary to calculate the traffic problem. It is also possible to reach the city center in 30-45 minutes by using a taxi from the taxi stand at the exit of the arrivals terminal.
