Transportation from City Center to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport
There are several ways to reach the airport from Helsinki city center. Some of these are trains, buses and taxis.
Buses, which are the most convenient way, have stops at both terminals. The buses of Finnair Bus, which you will get on from the center, connect the airport to the city center (central train station). Buses departing every 20 minutes cost 6.20€.
There are other buses that go to the airport as an alternative to Finnair Bus. Bus number 615 goes from the central train station to the airport. This bus line is replaced by bus number 620 at night.
Bus number 61 takes you from Tikkurila station to Helsinki Airport.
It is also possible to easily reach the airport from the city center with taxi and car rental options.
Transportation from Nice Cote d'Azur Airport to the City Center
The city of Nice is located in the south of France, on the Mediterranean coast. Located between Marseille and Genoa, the city is one of the most important tourism centers in France. The airport serving Nice, the fifth largest city in France, is Nice Cote d'Azur Airport. The international airport is located approximately 6 km southwest of the city centre. Due to its proximity to the airport, it is also preferred by passengers going to the Principality of Monaco.
There are many options for transportation from Nice Airport to the city center such as bus, train, taxi, car or motorcycle rental and even helicopter.
For those who prefer buses, companies such as Airport Express and FLIXBUS offer buses to Nice city center and nearby cities. If you travel with the Travel Pass card, you will travel more conveniently.
Another option is to use trains. After exiting the Terminal 1 building, you can reach the city center by walking a little and by taking the trains from the Saint Augustin train station.
You can quickly reach any point in the city with the taxis you will see at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 exits. Note that only cash is valid for taxis, where tariffs differ during the day and at night.
If you want to reach the city center of Nice by renting a car, remember that the offices of the companies at the airport are open until 22.00 in the evening. Service companies are Advantage, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Entreprise and Sixt. You can also rent a motorbike or reach the city center by helicopter.
