Transportation from the City Center to Havana Airports
Havana, the capital of Cuba, has two flight areas, Jose Marti International Airport and Playa Baracoa Airport. Jose Marti International Airport, which connects Havana with the world, is known as the largest airspace in the country. Approximately 4 million passengers visit the airport annually.
Transportation from City Center to Jose Marti International Airport
The distance between the city center and Jose Marti International Airport is approximately 18 kilometers. Those who want to go to the airport from the city center prefer transportation options such as train, taxi, bus and car rental.
Those who want to go to the airport by public transportation can take the buses that depart every 30 minutes between 10:00 and 22:00, but it is not recommended for guests coming to Havana to use the bus because of the crowded and irregular departure times. In addition, you have to walk about two kilometers to get to the area where the bus stops are located. It is possible to reach the airport in 20-25 minutes by using the taxis in the city center instead of the bus.
You can also go to the airport by taking the train from Havana Central Train Station. Another alternative for airport transportation is car rental. Rental offices in the city center or the airport are very helpful to tourists in this sense.

Transportation from Providenciales Airport to City Center
Providenciales, or Provo as the locals call it, is a 98 square kilometer British island located northwest of the Caicos Islands. Selected as the best holiday destination in the world by Tripadvisor in 2011, Providenciales is the most populated among Turks and Caicos Islands and the main airport of the entire region, Providenciales International Airport is located here.
Although the airport is located in the city center, most tourists come to the resorts located in the Grace Bay area, 11 km from the island.
There is no option other than a taxi or private car to get to the city center or Grace Bay from Providenciales Airport. Taxis stop just outside the airport's luggage pickup point and operate at a flat rate.
Although there is a list of tariffs, taxi drivers may ask for higher fares or multiply the fare by the number of people, so be sure to confirm the fare in advance. Since some taxis in Turks and Caicos Islands are in the form of minibuses, it is possible to share them with passengers going in the same direction. In this case, it may be necessary to wait 10-15 minutes to leave the airport.
Renting a car from the airport is also a logical option, as there is no public transport on the island. Thus, you can easily reach Grace Bay or the city center from Providenciales Airport, and you can also travel around the island comfortably. However, it should be taken into account that the traffic on the island operates from the left and the traffic rules are not taken into account.
To get to Grace Bay from Providenciales Airport, follow the Leeward Highway to the hub at the end, then take Allegro Road to the center of Grace Bay.
In addition, some hotels and rental villas on the island provide private transfer services from the airport.
The private transfer driver you will arrange from your hotel or a tour company will meet you just outside the arrivals terminal, holding your name and direct you to your vehicle without waiting. If you are a group of four people or more, the private transfer fee is often more affordable than a taxi. Fast Track Transport is one of the reliable companies that provide this service.
