Transportation from Kualanamu Airport to Medan City Center
Kualanamu International Airport, also known by the code KNO, is the country's second largest airport located in the North Sumatera Region of Indonesia.
The fact that there is direct access to the airport by train makes it very easy to transfer to the city center. There are 40 reciprocal flights a day between Kuala Namu Airport and Medan Airport Train Station, and the train takes you to the city center in 30 to 50 minutes, depending on the time you board. Considering that the fare increases proportionally when the traffic is very heavy, taxis are no longer an economical option.
