Transportation from Ahmedabad Airport to Ahmedabad City Center
Although Ahmedabad Airport, officially known as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, is a large airport serving the city of Ahmedabad, transportation means from the airport to the city are very limited.
In this context, the best solution for you to cover this distance is to use airport taxis. You make your payment by telling your destination from the toll booths in the terminal building and you take the next taxi with the receipt they give you. The city center is only 9 km away and the journey takes about 20 minutes.
