Transportation from the City Center to Budapest International Ferenc Liszt Airport
Budapest International Ferenc Liszt Airport is the country's largest international airport serving the capital city of Hungary, Budapest. The airport, formerly Budapest International Ferihegy Airport, still continues to be called by this name from time to time. The airport, located 16 km southeast of the city, was established for military purposes in 1939-1944 during the war. Later, it was rearranged in 1947-1950 to be converted into a civil airport. Today, more than 40 airlines use this airport. Budapest Airport experiences its busiest period in July, August and September.
There are options such as bus, minibus, taxi or car rental to reach Budapest Airport from the city center.
Undoubtedly, the most economical option is buses. Between 04:00 and 23:00, bus number 200E runs between Kőbánya-Kispest metro station and Terminal 2. To reach the airport from the city center, you can first take the metro numbered M3, which goes in the direction of Újpest Központ, and then the bus numbered 200E. It is possible to buy your tickets from automatic machines or ticket offices. You can take the bus after you get on the bus, but it is a little more expensive.
Another way to reach the airport from the city center is to use minibuses. The miniBUD shuttle service with which Budapest Airport is contracted offers a comfortable and fast travel service to those who want to go to the airport.
You can also use taxis, but be sure to discuss the price in advance.

Transportation from Lulea Airport to the City Center
Lulea is a university city with a population of 70,000 in the Norrbotten region of northern Sweden, and a charming destination on the Baltic Sea, in the area where the Lule River empties into the sea. Lulea Airport, which serves the city, is also known as Kallax Airport, as it is located in Kallax, 5 km from the city. You can reach the city center from Lulea Airport by public transport, shuttle and taxi.
Buses numbered 4 or 104 are the most economical means of transportation to go from the airport to Lulea. The number 4 bus goes from the airport to the city centre, the university and Aurorum.
Bus number 104, on the way from Lulea Airport to the city center, stops in Smedjegatan, the bus station and the train station.
The last flight departing from the airport can sometimes wait for half an hour for flights that may arrive late. If your flight lands at a time when there are no municipal buses, there are shuttles from the airport to Lulea every flight time.
Cash is not accepted on the buses. It is possible to pay by ticket or credit card. You can buy the ticket from Mat & Fika or Quickomat vending machines at the airport. In addition, if you plan to use public transportation while visiting the city, it may be more economical to buy a 3-day tourist card directly. If you have a transportation card that you have used in Lulea before, you can top up from Quickomat, which you can find at the bus stop at the airport.
It is always possible to go to the city center from Lulea Airport by taxi, which is a more comfortable means of transportation than public transportation. You can use the taxis waiting just outside the terminal or a taxi you can call by phone. Since taxi fares are not determined from a central location in Sweden, the pricing of each taxi company may be different, so you are free to choose the taxi that suits you.
So you don't have to take the first taxi in the queue. When choosing a taxi, it is necessary to be careful to ask whether it takes a fixed price to the city center and whether they open a taximeter. The prices requested by each taxi company for journeys within 10 km are written in large numbers on a yellow background so that customers can choose easily.
Also, don't forget to get a receipt when you get off because if you forget something in the vehicle, there is both a taxi plate and a contact number on the receipt. Here are the numbers of some taxi companies you can use:

• Svea taxi Norrbotten +46 920-66 666
