You can take a taxi for a more comfortable and faster journey. Taxis here are operated by the government of São José dos Pinhais. You can find a taxi at the airport 24 hours a day. The taxi rank is located close to the parking lot just across the arrivals floor. The journey time to Curitiba by taxi takes 20-30 minutes depending on the traffic situation. By calling a vehicle from the Uber application, you can reach the city center in the same time on average.
If you want to explore the city and take care of the airport transfer at the same time, you can rent a car from the rent-a-car companies that have offices in the airport terminal building. It takes 20 or 30 minutes to arrive in Curitiba by passenger car, depending on the traffic situation.
