Transportation from Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport to Santiago City Center
Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport stands out as an easy-to-reach airport with its location approximately 20 km from the city center. There are many ways to reach the city center from the airport.
The easiest of these, of course, is to take a taxi. You can take two types of taxis from the airport. One of them is the taxi called Vía Controlada, which is under the control of the airport and you can get on by paying in advance, with a fixed tariff, in order to prevent fraud, and their color is blue. Another company, TurBus, organizes reciprocal flights to Los Héroes Metro Station between 06.00 - 22.30 only on weekdays.

Although this minibus service, which leaves when full but takes you to your hotel, is more expensive than the bus, it stands out as a very reasonable option as it leaves you at the door of your hotel. The journey can take between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the location of the places where the dolmus passengers stay.
Although there is a metro in the city of Santiago, it is not possible to reach the airport by metro yet.
