Transportation from Baghdad International Airport to the City Center
Located 16 kilometers west of Iraq's capital, Baghdad, Baghdad International Airport is operated by the Iraqi Government. The airport, where both civilian and military aircraft take off, is home to Iraqi Airways, the country's national airline. Baghdad Airport draws attention with its annual passenger capacity of approximately 7.5 million passengers and the ability to host aircraft of all sizes involved in both military and civilian operations.
