From the city center; It is possible to reach the airport by metro in a fast and comfortable way without stopping anywhere other than the Phaya Thai and Makkasan metro stations. The metro runs from 06:00 in the morning until midnight. Depending on the location in the city center, the airport can be reached in 20-40 minutes.
Minibuses with line numbers 550 and 551 serve on the airport route from the city center. One of these minibuses, number 550, travels to different parts of the city center, and the one numbered 551 makes an express journey. Therefore, it is useful to prefer the minibus that goes from the highway.

Transportation from Papeete Faa'a International Airport to the City Center
The capital of Papeete, Tahiti and the main international airport of French Polynesia, Faa'a Airport is located here. All international flights to French Polynesia land at this airport, located 5 km southwest of Papeete city centre, and passengers are usually greeted with music and flowers.

To go from the airport to Papeete city center by taxi, you can take a taxi from the taxi stand just outside the arrivals terminal.
