Transportation to the City Center from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport
One of the busiest airports in the world in terms of passenger traffic, Schiphol Airport is located in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. The public bus No. 197 is operating between Leidsplein Square and the airport in every 15 to 30 minutes. The trip approximately lasts 30 minutes. The busses that are operated by GVB Bus Company are taking off at the exit of the arrival terminal.
The taxi station outside of the arrival terminal is providing services for passengers who would like to travel to Amsterdam city center, as well as, other cities in the country. The initial price for taking a taxi is 3€, while, 2€ is charged per kilometer. It is recommended to negotiate about prices prior to taking a taxi.
