Moldova's national airline, Air Moldova, was founded on January 12, 1993. The headquarters of the company is located in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. Air Moldova has direct flights from the capital Chisinau to many cities in Russia, Romania, Italy, Ireland, England, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Germany, Cyprus, Greece, Ukraine, Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Air Moldova flies from Turkey to Istanbul only. The airline also organizes flights to some holiday centers in the Mediterranean with periodic charter flights in high season.

Air Moldova Baggage Allowance and Pricing
The free baggage allowance in Air Moldova differs according to the destination of the flight. Passengers with extra baggage are charged between 30 euros and 110 euros. Children under the age of 2 are not allowed to purchase extra baggage allowance. Air Moldova Food, Beverage and Catering
There are two separate catering menus for business and economy passengers on Air Moldova flights. During the flight, economy class passengers are served food, wine and soft drinks depending on the departure time and flight duration. For passengers who buy business class tickets, the middle seats are left empty and menus are prepared depending on the departure and distance of the flight. There is no extra charge for refreshments on flights.
